Real Estate Finance Co. was founded by Bob Chenoweth in October, 1986 after 19 years of service to the Insurance industry. 

Bob served in a variety of areas including sales and service of Life and health Insurance products with Prudential and Nationwide Insurance and as an Independent Broker. 

He has been licensed as a Registered Representative, a Fire and Casualty Agent and a Life and Health Agent.  He received awards for 17 of the 19 years in the Insurance Industry for Sales, Service, and Retention.  He trained and supervised many agents through those years and was proficient in Financial planning, Estate planning and Pension planning.  

In July, 2000 Bob purchased Sound Beach Financial in order to expand the company’s markets and products.

Bob is active in his church as a Deacon.  He is the Chaplain and past Commandant of the Housatonic Marine Corps League Detachment #1129.

A service award by the Bridgeport Council of Churches was conveyed to Bob in 1995 for teaching a Bible study in a nursing home for 7 years.

Bob served as President of Infinit, a marketing and referral group.

He loves spending time with his wife, JoAnn, their 9 children and 8 grandchildren and friends.
